Fishing is, perhaps, the quietest way to inhabit this landscape. The Rialb river and the middle stretch of the Segre teem with salmonids —above all trout— in waters that speak of quality and calm. Long mornings, still evenings and your attention fixed on a single spot.
It pairs beautifully with a rural getaway and a weekend of switching off. Bear in mind that, to fish in Catalonia, you need a valid licence and, in controlled areas, the corresponding permit as well.
