The Segre Rialb Consortium is a supra-municipal local body dedicated to economic promotion and tourism development in the area around the Rialb reservoir and the Middle Segre. Its work is to bring value to a land with its own identity —landscape, heritage, outdoor activities— and an offer increasingly ready to welcome visitors all year round.
It is made up of the town councils of the Baronia de Rialb, Bassella, Oliana, Peramola, Ponts and Tiurana, together with the comarcal councils of the Noguera and the Alt Urgell and the Provincial Council of Lleida.
A structure that makes it possible to work in a coordinated way, pool resources and drive a shared territorial strategy.
The Consortium’s great challenge is to establish Segre Rialb as a sustainable, well-organised and attractive tourist destination all year round.
This means improving access, sustainable mobility and signage, organising the uses of the reservoir, strengthening the family and nature-activity offer, and generating new economic opportunities for the villages of the territory.
