Tragó (Peramola) celebrates the Festival of Santa Llúcia!

he Festival of Santa Llúcia is a day marked by devotion, popular culture and the spirit of gathering that characterises these dates. The programme will combine liturgical ceremonies, displays of traditional culture and musical performances that will invite residents and visitors to enjoy a festive, shared morning.

The celebration will begin at 11:00 with the solemn mass, one of the most emblematic moments of the festivity. Next, at 11:35, the Bastoners de Peramola (stick dancers) will give a performance full of rhythm and identity, leading just a few minutes later into the dance of the Asparrac de Tragó (11:50), a living display of local folklore.

The morning will culminate with a concert by the group Montserrat Isanta Duo, scheduled for 12:00, which will bring music and warmth to the festival with a repertoire designed for all audiences. Finally, at 13:00, a community refreshment will allow attendees to share conversation and reunion in a close, festive atmosphere.

With this proposal, the organising bodies and the municipality invite everyone to take part in a day that aims to keep tradition alive and strengthen community ties on the very eve of Christmas.

It is also an opportunity to discover Peramola, which, like many villages in the region, has narrow streets and stone houses that lend a rustic charm to its townscape. The local architecture reflects the rich history of the area. An appealing destination for nature lovers and outdoor-activity enthusiasts.
