The Rialb dam is one of the great images of the territory. At 99 metres high and with a capacity of 403 hm³, it is an infrastructure of enormous landscape impact and the key to understanding the transformation of this setting. Inaugurated in the year 2000, the reservoir is the second largest in Catalonia and supplies more than 80 settlements through the Segarra-Garrigues and Urgell canals.
Today it is also a top-tier tourist attraction, ideal for combining with viewpoints, routes and water activities. A place to feel the open force of the landscape up close.
