Tiurana
Located at the eastern end of Noguera, and in the Mig Segre area. It does not include any other village or hamlet.
Officially established in 2007, the village inherited the name of the old village of Tiurana, which had to be abandoned in 1999 to allow the flooding of the Rialb reservoir. Tiurana was completely drowned by the waters. Only the tenacity of its people to preserve their identity made it possible to reconstruct the new Tiurana, near the sanctuary of its patron saint, the Virgin of Solès.
Tiurana refused to die, which is why its inhabitants want to show everyone, with pride and humility, the strength of a people who really love living in the land of their birth.
The main communications link is the C-14 transversal trunk road towards Seu d’Urgell.
